Homework
There will be homework every night and over some vacations. Your child
should read thirty minutes a night five times a week. There will be a log to
document reading times. Also, math homework will be required each night.
Homework must be neat and checked by parents each night. Check with Mr.
Kirkland by email if there are questions at kirkland-c@kcusd.com.
The homework for the week can be found at Schoolnotes.
There are numerous websites for homework help. Consider the
following:
your child has supplies in their backpack every morning.
Organization is important so check for finished homework and homework log,
pencils, paper, a binder, crayons or colored pencils, an erasable marker, a
protractor/ruler set, and tissue or miscellaneous personal needs. Most of
this can be picked up at grocery or stationary stores.
