History

Thomas Law Reed School was a long held dream that is finally coming true. In April 1985 the land was purchased by Kings Canyon Unified School District. In 1993 a contest was held in order to name the future school. Craig Petinack, a eleventh grader at Reedley High School, submitted the winning entry. His choice was to name it after the founder of our community.
Construction of the school has been going on for the last sixteen months and the facility is finally ready. On August 16, 2004 the doors of Thomas Law Reed will open and admit the students.
